Veterans to Produce TV Show

Veterans to produce a TV Show about artists and veterans!

Two veterans, Jeffrey and Colt, created the concept for “Livin’ the Dream” so that artists and veterans could tell their stories to the world in a way that captures their stories, the work and creativity that goes into producing epic photoshoots, as well as spotlight the struggles of veterans that own businesses and utilizing art as an outlet.

The name of their tour is “Livin’ the Dream 2018”, where the competition and show hosts will interview, moderate, and observe teams of creatives such as models, photographers, make-up artists, designers, stylists, and more, compete for a money and prize packages, publication in Elan Vital Magazine, and take home the title of “Best Creatives in Town”!

The show will go over the competitions they’re hosting in each location, every stop has a different theme, and will cover what it takes to create an epic photoshoot but on a time constraint – meaning teams will only have so much time allotted for getting to the venue, preparation – makeup, hair, styling, wardrobe, and only a certain amount of time to do their shoot – sometimes in a limited space area where they’ll have to overshoot with other teams. While all this is going on, the hosts will ask the teams questions throughout, going over why they chose this as a career or hobby, who inspires them, who they hope to inspire, and other things. Livin’ the Dream will also be taking submissions from veteran owned businesses and other local artists that want their stories told, and will have a segment on the show highlighting the importance of art and how much of a struggle being a veteran owning a business can be.

The first stops on the tour are:

Los Angeles, CA – January 20-21, 2018
Las Vegas, NV – February 3, 2018
Phoenix, AZ – February 17, 2018
Dallas, TX – February 24, 2018
Austin, TX – March 3, 2018
New Orleans, LA – March 17, 2018
Pensacola, FL – March 24, 2018
Nashville, TN – March 31, 2018

Elan Vital is a magazine that is dedicated to bringing you tutorials in modeling, photography, make-up artistry, hair styling, wardrobe designing, and more. In addition to these articles, we will also be focusing on photographers’ portfolios. We are a bit different as we will be doing very limited “themed” issues but we will not be requiring a specific style for each of our regular issues. All submissions are welcome, but will be limited as far as what we accept for website editorials or magazine editorials. For our website, we will be accepting only 1 editorial submission per week. For our magazine, we will only be accepting 4 submissions per issue. Website and Magazine submission selections will be different.
