Local Ambition – Season 6 Premier Re-Cap

Things are getting bloody!

After watching the Season Premier of Local Ambition’s Season 6, I needed to re-watch it to see if I missed some things and to analyze it better! It was worth watching the second time!

For an independently produced show, AlwaysLateTV.com did an epic job of creating a show that combines modeling with competition and incorporating the drama that goes along with the industry. The season premier showed a solid definition of what it’s like to be an upcoming or aspiring model at a local level. Not all models are created equal.

While the show is filmed with an 80’s style look this season, don’t let that dissuade you from checking it out. We thought it was epic and definitely brought back some childhood memories of commercials and shows we watched back then.

The premier starts off with a host welcoming the audience in a foreign language, which was different (don’t worry, there are subtitles!), and some of the models answering questions about themselves and why they’re on the show.

Then it goes into some unexpected drama, when one of the model’s begins to spread some things about another model, which, at this point, we don’t know if it’s valid or not, but could have dire consequences for one of them.

We get to see a bit of the behind-the-scenes from their first “shoot-out”, where the models had to create and provide their own wardrobe to compete with each other and turn themselves into a zombie.

Towards the end, we begin to see the darker side of one of the models as she overhears and sees some other models plotting to get her friend voted off the show.

Good job, Local Ambition, for proving that local modeling isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and can be intense, dramatic, fun, and entertaining to see.

We definitely recommend you tune in to Monday’s episode of Local Ambition, Season 6. Check out the premier here!

He's probably eating bacon or donuts as you read this.
