Forget about the garbage other magazines tell you about sexiness. What people REALLY find sexy in a woman is confidence. Let Photographer Jenny Haley and Model Gina Higdon show you what beautifully confident looks like in this week’s feature and continue to look out for updates from these awesome artists in future editions of Elan Vital Media.
A little about Gina Higdon :
I’ve always loved music and just about anything to do with music since a very young age. I wanted to do a photo shoot that showed some of my love and appreciation for music, as well as my edgy side. My friend, who is also a photographer and I started asking around about places we could possibly use for a location. My sister thought to ask someone she knew through our local Boys Club. We were so shocked and grateful when she told us that the owners were going to allow us to come into their establishment and do our shoot. When we arrived, we found out that because of some unforeseen circumstances, some of the props we planned on using wouldn’t be available. That is when we all jumped into action and started to get the creative juices flowing. We were able to come up with quite a few different sets, as well as had a great time getting lost in being creative with our photos. We hope you all enjoy them as much as we enjoyed creating them! (Hair, makeup, outfit, & accessories done and put together by me)
A little about the Pub:
Scott & Christina Asher purchased the West Side Pub & Grub in the fall of 2015. Christina with her background in hospitality and bar management and Scott with his vision to improve Shelbyville’s Westside, this was a great business opportunity for the couple. The business intent was to corner the pub market by providing great food, large portions, and superb service. The West Side Pub also features live entertainment nearly every weekend by some of the best musicians in Central Indiana. When asked to describe the bar, Christina replies “Family. This pub is an extension of our family. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such great people.” These two, as well as their staff are very nice people and were more than willing to jump right in and help out with anything we needed. We couldn’t have done this without them!
