WK 65: Black And White Desires

What better way to unwind after a stressful day than a long hot bath with a friend?

The Photographer: Jeffrey Kreider (Jeff) is a military veteran that served with the U.S. Army Reserves attached to the 351st Military Police Unit (CS) out of Ocala, Florida. Jeff served in OIF/OEF in Iraq from 2003 – 2004.

Jeff has been involved with the photography industry since 2016 when he started it up as a hobby for photographing car shows. Jeff is now a locally known professional freelance photographer that works with local models to build portfolios.

Jeff has been involved with several projects within the last year including working with local animal shelters, rescues and sanctuaries and volunteering his time and photography skills to do photo sessions with the rescued animals to help raise money and donations of supplies for local animal shelters. He helps animals get adopted and find forever homes.

Jeff was involved in Shelter Slam this past April and was their Official Photographer. Shelter Slam is a local concert series that helps raise money and donations for local animal shelters, rescues and sanctuaries. The event is local to the Southern Tier of Upstate NY.

The Models: Sheonagh Belokur and Jessica Bill are local models to the Southern Tier of Upstate NY.

Sheonagh has worked with several local photographers and has been involved in Pin-up and local Fashion modeling. Jessica is a local model that is an avid animal rescue activist. Jessica helps rescue local animals and speaks out on animal abuse and neglect. Both Sheonagh and Jessica were models for the Shelter Slam event this year and were involved in several photo shoots with local animal shelters.

The Set: Black & White Desires. The set was the idea of model Sheonagh Belokur. Sheonagh contacted the photographer with the idea of doing a photo shoot. It would be a classy boudoir type photo shoot that was to take place in a bathroom setting using both shower and bathtub with black water. The whole photo shoot would be done in Black & White photography. Jessica Bill, the other model, was originally along for assistance with makeup and set support. Jessica ended up being a part of the photo shoot as an idea brought on by Sheonagh during the photo shoot. The set depicts both models in poses where they appear vulnerable. Both the photographer and models stepped way out of their comfort zones to do this photo shoot, that is a first for all involved.
